"The location close to Cannery Row is a godsend. The staff were welcoming and cordial. Got to experience the wine and cheese afternoon happy hour, and the people helped me relax after a long day of walking up and down Monterey. My road m was clean, odor-free, and quiet. Only issue I had was the screen door stuck and was hard to open. Otherwise I can't wait to go back."

"I had an amazing stay. The building itself was beautiful with high ceilings and friendly staff. There are plenty of places to eat close by and the hotel is not too far from Cannery Row. There is only street parking available but I had not problem finding parking nearby for overnight. If you like staying in hotels with charm and history I would highly recommend this location."

GREAT way to start each day by our favorite breakfast chef Carmen - truly extraordinary with everything made from scratch. Wine and cheese happy hour each afternoon at 4:00 is a great way to meet some of the other guests. The house was built in 1888 and there was an extensive remodel 3 years ago to spruce things up a bit without losing any of its Victorian charm. We will be back - thank you!! Jack & Amy - Ft.
