"this is a property in needs for renovation, bedding was bad, room not insulated and noisy, rudimentary amenities (no safe in the room for example) and staff not very flexible (would not consider late checkout on a sunday, would only turn the beds if you asked for it ) - the only positive is the location."

"The room was clean but a bit dated. There were only hot tubs for the amenities but the gift shop doesn’t sell swimsuits (we forgot one). The kids hot tub area is dated. Our room was hard to find and we got bad directions to it. Thankfully a helpful staff member in the hallway helped us find it. I’m not picky about rooms, that said, for the price I was surprised to have ground level facing a fence with a rat trap behind it. I think we would have e been happier paying less for a bad view. There wasn’t much to do here with kids."

"I booked this hotel for scuba diving. It’s right next to San Carlos Beach. It’s a prime location in Cannery Row and within walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. The room is spacious and clean. There was guest parking with additional fee. Overall it was pretty good for a 2-star hotel. I’m happy with the stay."

"The location and staff were fantastic. The room itself smelled heavily of carpet glue and the AC was so loud we couldn't use it. The sheets were clean but tattered to the point of the stuffing poking out of our comforters. The rod from our blinds kept slipping out nearly skewering the person by the door. The shower was awesome though with great water pressure and the hotel's shower products were nice, as well."

"The lobby and rooms are nice and it’s in a good location to get to downtown. The room was not ready until 45 minutes after check-in time which was annoying because it wasn’t crowded. The bar had good food. Overall a good place!"

"Arrived for a 1 night stay. Staff seemed stand-offish. Transactional interaction. No interest in creating a connection. We opted for a first floor room due to having a small baby. Room was decent. Bathroom seemed dated rusty air vents. Tv did not work, called the front desk twice. First ring they did not answer. I called at 8pm. Answered 20 mins later. No apology, another transactional interaction. I considered booking an Airbnb. I booked the hotel hoping for a great stay. With hotel amenities and great staff. Wish I would have just booked an Airbnb for the price."
