"Best kept secret, up a narrow road. If getting away from it all is your thing, this country estate hotel & lodges is perfect. Having said that, it’s only 7-8 mins away by taxi from Gleneagles Hotel. Our hotel room (one of only 9), was well appointed. No air conditioning but there was a fan. Nice pool and gym. Good breakfast. The lodges look lovely and we will definitely be back to stay in one. "

"First time at Malmaison with 2 small dogs. Room was a suite and only had booked a standard double room. Absolutely beautiful with bath and Jack and Jill shower facilities and sinks. Extra room to side with circular couch bed and flat screen TV . Staff very helpful. Unable to take dogs into Brasserie restaurant but are in for stairs bar and food brought to table. But more difficult at breakfast but eventually after explaining unable to up and down lift with breakfast we were allowed to sit in conference side room with dogs which was adjacent to buffet breakfast room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay "
