We were met on arrival and shown around, it feels more like a home than a hotel.
The facilities are excellent, the attention to detail is fantastic and everything was absolutely spotless.

"Das Hotel war in Ordnung, die Lage top, ganz nah am Stand. Das Zimmer war klein, aber ok, leider extrem hellhörig, so dass man in der Nacht oft geweckt wurde.
Das Frühstück war an sich ausreichend (ich als Veganerin hatte eine Sorte Brot, Margarine, Tomate und Gurke, Marmelade und Sojajoghurt), aber das Obst war zum Teil nicht mehr gut (Trauben waren verschimmelt, Obstsalat hat sehr alt und angegammelt geschmeckt) und meine Schwester meinte, auch Käse und Wurst haben verdorben geschmeckt. "The service was excellent the owner was welcoming and friendly. He helped us with our painters and bicycles and offered bike parking which was very important for us. Very friendly & helpful staff.
We enjoyed a complimentary coffee before leaving on our cycle trip to Texel . "

I was surprised I couldn't leave my luggage prior to check-in as the luggage room was full, but this didn't cause me too much angst.
