Property was very nice. Rooms were big and clean. If you don't like smoke avoid the 1st floor of casino it has smoking allowed, but you can go to 2nd floor for smoke free gaming. Overall it was a nice place and I would stay there again.

The room was amazing and clean. We ate at Charter 18 and it was amazing. Walked around the casino for a couple of hours. And no need to leave. Just headed back to the room or stayed on property for food and fun. The spa was such a great place and relaxing atmosphere.

Easy parking, friendly staff, and large rooms were the highlights of Ameristar. I picked this hotel for my last night in St. Louis before a depressingly early flight. At 10 minutes to the airport, it was a very easy morning. The casino was an added bonus, giving me a way to unwind before my time home. Unfortunately, it is extremely smoky from the moment you get off the elevator from the parking garage. Even on the non-smoking floor of the casino, there is no refuge from the cigarette smell. That was to be expected though, and my non-smoking room was clean and unexpectedly large with a sunken living room and view of a body of water that I'm too lazy to look up.

Everyone was very friendly, the rooms were exceptionally clean, you had very good choices for food within the facility and parking was close by. The only thing I didn’t like was smoking in the casino. They had the non smoking area upstairs but smoke rises so basically you couldn’t get away from it. If ever I’m in the area again, I would definitely stay there.

Nice room! Double sinks came in handy. Loved the step down sitting room . Plenty of parking. Areas from garage to inside, could have been cleaner. Microwave for guests would have been nice. Overall, enjoyed the stay.
