based on a budget hotel, this is an excellent place to stay. everything you want. comfortable bed, room, good space, ensuite, parking, wifi, room refreshments, bar onsite and basic continental option using quality products. as you may tell, I was impressed and would recommend and stay again.Thank you to friendly staff.

Stayed there overnight. Its a low budget hotel so would expect to pay less than i would in a high budget hotel. The amenities are due to be refurbished and they could make more effort with breakfast- add hot food to the menu. Overall it was just alright.

Nice enough place to stay for a mini break. Sandringham nearby well with visiting

Needed a Hotel at short notice and our usual place was fully booked. Did not know what to expect to find at Elme Hall but we need not have feared we found a nice Hotel with clean spacious rooms,very helpful staff and extremely comfortable beds.

Room was booked for 2 adults but only one towel has been provided . We had to ask reception for another towel . Small room 122 . I hit the TV twice . Very clean room . Staffs are helpful.

The Urban is situated in a good area if visiting Grantham, very close to town. The interior of the hotel from Reception to Bar was very nice, however the bedroom wasn't great. I think there was a party at the hotel so the noise came through the room, as did any hallway noise. Our beds were really uncomfortable so we had difficulty sleeping through the night. We also had a random empty milk container in the room, some stains in the bath, and a non-functioning phone in the bedroom. The pool was quite nice, if a little on the smaller side. My daughter very much enjoyed it and we managed to get a good hour out of it. Free wifi is available, however you are only restricted to 1Mb down and 500kbps up which is a little stingy, however it was adequate for regular browsing to non media website. A premium service was available for something like £1 an hour. There was great was the breakfast available in the morning, which was very fresh and tasty. In all, I think the hotel was OK, the biggest annoyances were how uncomfortable the bed was, room cleanliness and some noise through the night. I think we might have lucked out, as the rest of the hotel out of the room itself was pretty good.

A well appointed hotel close to all amenities and to the passport office. Excellent food in the restaurant. Did, however find that it was a little on the expensive side. £22 pounds for two G & T's plus a snack of two pita breads, small bowl of Humus, Small bowl of olives and a small bowl of chargrilled veg It could be me who is out of touch with prices in the UK. The only down side to the hotel was the lack of a lift. Hence the overall rating of 4.

Excellent historic hotel, but serving in restaurant was very slow and there was confusion over the final bill because of another guest with the same surname.
