"This is a wonderful little hotel tucked away in a very quiet area. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the harbor area where all of the shops and restaurants are. The front desk workers were all very helpful and had many great suggestions about where to go, what to see, and how to get there. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return someday."

"Great location. Easy to find. We checked in late and the parking lot was full near the room, so we were allowed to park at the end of the lot 2 doors away from our room. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the towels were great! We’d been on the road for two weeks. Best towels by far! Only disappointment was no microwave in the room. There was no coffee pot either, but we were able to get it at the front desk thanks to Susie. We would definitely stay...

"Note: We stayed in early May, before peak season. We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The hotel itself, the staff, the breakfast. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. We asked for late checkout on our last day because we wanted to go for one last hike and then come back and shower, and it was not a problem at all. I imagine that would be different had it been peak season, so I'm glad we booked in the off season. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bar Harbor. "

Cute little cottages with everything you’d need for a hiking vacation. The owner was very responsive and nice. Great amenities on the property too which you don’t see in many other places.
