"Overall, the property was very nice and was as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay and found the space comfortable.Communication was a little difficult, although some of that appeared to be an issue with the Vrbo app. Unfortunately, I had to reach out to the host three separate times before receiving the information needed to enter the property because the messages through the app were not coming through.The biggest concern was the washing machine. Laundry wasn’t a necessity for our short stay, but when we went to use it, we found that the seal was covered in mold and had a very strong odor, making the machine unusable. This definitely needs some attention for future guests.One small suggestion would be to add a few hooks to the bathroom walls for hanging and drying towels, clothing, etc. There wasn’t much space available for those items.Aside from those issues, the property itself was very nice, matched the description, and we had an enjoyable stay."

"Very nice property that hosted 5 of us very comfortably. The host is great with communication and has clear instructions for check in / check out. The yard is great with plenty of firewood to keep a great campfire and stare at the wonderful starry sky. Close to nearby towns and the national park. Highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Golden Lantern and Island Ferry. This reservation is for 2 houses, each with 4 bedrooms/2 baths, a 4 minute walk apart. There were enough room/bed combos to easily accommodate our family of 8 adults and 6 children under the age of 9. We used Golden Lantern for meals and socializing as it had the larger kitchen and common area. The houses were very private in a quiet community but with all MDI and Acadia NP adventures easily accessible. Dwayne was very responsive to any questions we had."
