Stocked well enough for cooking, which we didn't do much of (not good idea if trying to lose weight. But so many great places to eat). Bed was comfortable and I tend to be the Princess and the Pea. Enough space to spread out. Great road to walk down and back for a little exercise. Hosts were wonderful to work with and met our needs well. Overall would stay here again. ##### Christine B. Very clean and comfortable. We never did meet the owner but we were out most of the days; and all our needs were met and expectations exceeded. The kitchen had everything we needed. The area is very quiet. There are a couple beautiful lighthouses that are a short drive away and a very quaint downtown area with a swing bridge and a restaurant that features fresh off-the-boat seafood and makes a generous lobster roll. There is also a quaint general store. Great place to use as home base for the many activities in the area--we went out to Eastern Egg Rock to see puffins and went kayaking one day. I am used to biking a lot on vacation but was a little intimidated by the main road around the island because the cars go by fast and there is no shoulder.
