"Initially got there and no king rooms available even though I had reserved one. (I’m a taller guy, so my feet hang off a double bed.) The person checking me in was upwardly friendly and helpful about finding a room after just a short wait. The room was dated, and it smelled musty/older. I was not expecting that from the Hyatt brand. But other than that, the hotel was in a great location. Felt safe."

"The room was clean and spacious. We stayed in the Hotel Rome part of Mt Olympus where the rooms are onsite. The check in person put us in a room close to the indoor water park which worked out great. The only two things we were unhappy with was we arrived at the lazy river about 830pm and asked when they closed. He said at 9pm but about 843pm all the lifeguards blew their whistles to indicate they were closing right then. The noise from all the whistles for over a minute was deafening. Also I asked a lifeguard if he could have someone remove all the extra inner tubes from the river because they were in the way. He said no that they could stay there so my husband and another guest removed about ten of them from the water."

"Loved the location and size and layout of the room. Very functional and spacious. Loved that you could get to the large bathroom from bedroom or living area. Full kitchen, Nice fireplace and big balcony. However the place really needs updating. The furniture and carpeting is cheap and dated. That was mostly cosmetic but the real issue was the bed - it was awful. Very squeaky and old. And the balcony furniture was dirty with cobwebs and had a few spiders. And $5 for a water bottle?? Really? Tacky. The coffee packs provided were decent though. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice. Didn’t use outdoor amenities. So if walkable to everything and lots of space is priority then this is great. But if you want a good bed and modern feel skip this."
