The only good thing about this hotel was the location on the beach. The floors were redone poorly, the stove was broken, the lamp shade was colored pink, the drawer on the dresser was broken, the bathroom door was peeling, the evelator was 2 years expired, the hallway smelled like Marijuana, the place had homeless blocking the driveway entrance constantly. Definitely not worth the price.

There were roaches in the first room got moved to another room where one of the mattresses had a whole in it and the shower handle fell off. Will never stay again

The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach view was good. The pool was clean. The only complaint I have is that the booking was not clear about a damage deposit and kitchen amenities has to be rented. There was no coffee pot nor microwave.

Hotel was very run down, not clean and I booked a 2 bedroom with Kings, they said that it is not available upon my arrival and had to settle down for 2 queens with 1 bedroom. Horrible experience.

Pulling in we were skeptical. The place allows vacancy, parking lot was pretty empty (2 cars) walked in, left everything in the car bc we wanted to see the room first. Check in was very long and wasn't really greeted at all. Went up to the room, on the way the hallways smelled like weed. Getting in the room, the sliding door to the balcony was very hard to open, bottom and side of toilet was absolutely disgusting, and there was a cockroach beside it. The door that separated the sleeping area from the sitting area was broken, the stove was missing a burner, the microwave didn't fit on the counter bc of how small the kitchen was. Very old musty building in general and it seemed to attract a non family friendly crowd. South Myrtle in general seemed to be this way. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET A NICE PLACE. We ended up in North Myrtle, Cherry Grove and it was day and night literally. Crowds and houses,hotels etc. We were never given a policy but was told that we couldn't get a refund for the first 24hrs. We got the damage deposit back a 3 out of the 4 days of the resort fee back. But no refund on the room itself. U have to rent dishes, pots and pans, and extra towels, blanets, pillows.

The pictures were nicer than the actual room, the checkin was extremely slow. We found bugs and hair in our rooms. We did not have a full size fridge. It was extremely humid. The tv in the lobby was broken. The patio doors were messed up. There were not sheets for the sofa bed. You had to rent everything. We checked out 20 mins after checking in and that was very slow too. Still waiting on our refund.

From the time we walked through the door the lady at the front desk seemed to have a very terrible attitude. We were there for a total of 3 days, no one ever asked us how we were doing, no one ever came to ask if we needed fresh towels toilet paper or anything. I have never stayed somewhere that you have to ask for fresh things. No microwave in the room. The shower barely trickled out any water and you were lucky if it was luke warm. They denied us our deposit because the towels were dirty but as I said no one ever brought fresh ones. The room door was supposed to stop itself from slamming but I guess the stopper was broke so I accidentally let it slam and the lady was very rude about it and wouldn't even hear me out or let me show her the problem. The whole staff seemed to not like white people at all as we would get devilish looks from them as we were coming and going. The TV had a weird line running right down the middle of the screen. I mean it was just over all bad. Terrible establishment with terrible people running it
