"I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. The rooms were absolutely fantastic, clean and spacious. The decor was classy and tasteful and I did not encounter a single staff member (including the Valets) who were anything less than pleasant, friendly and very helpful. "It was extremely clean , quiet and relaxing for me and my husband. We will book Hotel Valencia every time we visit SanAntonio because of our experience. This was our first time at the Riverwalk and I can not express how much we enjoyed our time and stay in the area. I wish I could gate keep this hotel but I can't because staff, and the guys at the front door was nice and always asked if we needed recommendations for places to visit in the area. "This was a girls runaway. This was the most elegant hotel we've ever stayed in. Valet, doormen bellhops! Oh my! Front desk was efficient and pleasant, The decor was outstanding and historic. I love the marble and and lobby furniture. Food was different than most places, it was good. We were in room 756 and despite being that high up, you can hear traffic down below. The room was great, bathroom was spectacular. Sofa bed left much to be desired for an older body. DON'T PASS UP THE CHANCE...
