We brought our dogs to enjoy the snow with us. The hot tub was really nice to be in at night to see the beautiful stars. Inside was cozy and easy to make yourself feel at home. The space itself is pretty dated, but has some modern updates with a nice kitchen. The location is great! The house was very clean. We did have someone who said they worked for the property stop by unannounced to look at a camera. That was a little weird since I was in the hot tub. Only 2 miles from town but felt hours away. Extremely quiet and peaceful with lots of outdoor space. The large completely fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We greatly enjoyed relaxing on the very comfortable reclining leather sofa and the wood burning stove while enjoying the view. Going in the hot tub while it was snowing was fantastic. We hiked and went tubing in the nearby creek and drove to other nearby amenities. At night we enjoyed the hot tub and gathering in the comfortable living space. This was perfect spot for our small family "memorial" trip. Our athletic young dog enjoyed the gated dog run below the deck when we were enjoying the table on the deck or the great hot tub. 10 min walk to access the "Upper Truck" and beautiful meadow with trails. The non teens, especially the 4 legged one loved this! Hosts were very responsive throughout the process here via this website / email combo and I even got a text 1 hour before we were to check in. There are trails at the end of the street, plenty of space to play in the backyard (we used it to teach our toddler how to ski), and a great open space layout in the cabin.
