"A good location with good views over Barry. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The property was "tired" and with a good budget, has the potential to be a lovely venue. A good value for money, basic accommodation, if your expectations are not too high."

"Great place to stay xx"

"The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station"

"beautiful hotel, stunning view, excellent food and helpful staff"

"It is a wonderful place to stay within walking distance of the main tourist area and castle. And it has a great restaurant downstairs. We would definitely stay there again!"

"I loved the location and staff. The rooms were small but well stocked and comfortable. The second room we rented only had a sink -the toilet and shower facilities were in the hallway but it didn’t seem to be much of an issue unless you awake several times a night. A hidden surprise that we found out about by mistake…there is a walking path just outside the hotel entrance “behind the restaurant” (take a left) that leads to a beautiful trail and meanders to the road near the bay."

"Nice place to stay, very clean and a lovely area."
