"We had a great stay at the beautiful Yangshuo Scenic Mountain Retreat. Our room was nice and comfortable, although in the winter be warned that there is no heating! The wifi works quite well and there is always ginger tea available in the main lobby for guests. We also had very tasty breakfasts (we tried Western and Chinese and both were great), and the hotel also arranged for us to hire some bicycles for the day so we could explore the area. "Not much parking so plan to use taxis. The free west (partial) style breakfast has some things to be desired. But it had toast, jelly, butter, coffee, cereal, eggs. The milk is warm/hot (Ug) and the bacon was not bacon (Don't know what it was - but had NO taste). The room even had a weight scale and a rubber duck at the full bath tub.
