Very comfortable stay. Came to see Acadia for our 45th Anniversary and could not have been more blessed than we were here. You had every utensil and accessory for cooking and the loveliest view every morning! And great beds! Again, thank you, we hope to be able to return.

This property was perfect for us. It was an opportunity for four adults to relax, cook together, be together, and take long walks. I love the road that went right in front of the house, and the beautiful walks we were able to take. The house was gorgeous, and the views from the living room are breathtaking.

Amazing mini getaway

Thank you to the entire Maine Coastal team to make the process so seamless. Everything was perfect and the views were so calm and soothing. My in laws loved everything about it, they didn’t want to leave the property lol.

Lovely getaway

The house was very nice. My family and I enjoyed a long weekend getaway and enjoyed all of the property had to offer. Close to Acadia national park and to several local restaurants.

Family trip

The home was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed! We were disappointed the weather was rainy, foggy, and cool most of our trip, so we didn’t get to enjoy sitting outside and the view. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway!

Serene and Away from the noise!

The stay in Sorrento was great for a family trip with my girlfriend and parents. Loved the home and location! 45 minutes from Acadia National Park but off the touristy radar so we could still have quiet nights looking out at the water and peaceful mornings doing the same

Amazing Spot

Quiet and relaxing with a wonderful view into the harbor. The house is beautiful, cozy, and rustic with incredible views of numerous small boats and fishing vessels in Sorrento Harbor as you sip your morning coffee from the roof deck, it’s very quaint and lovely. It’s everything you’d imagine from a stay on the Maine coastline.

Great house. Really quant. Amazing deck with views. Easy to get to and easy to check in and out. Maine is a great place to visit. The weather was amazing. In the 70’s. But bring bug spray! :)

Truly Serene

Loved the house. Looking out on the water in the morning and evenings was so relaxing! There was a heat wave but fans are available, so we made the best of it. Well stocked kitchen. Would stay again if visiting Bar Harbor.

Peaceful paradise

Quiet neighborhood with spectacular views of the bay. The house was larger then expected. We had 2 vehicles, so parking was a challenge, but manageable.

We wanted a getaway waterfront experience without the usual tourist trappings and this house was in the perfect location. The rooftop deck was perfect for watching the boats on the water and the fog lifting in the morning. The decor is all things related to Maine culture. We enjoyed strolling the streets of Sorrento and admiring the vintage vacation homes of the area. We would like to emphasize for interested renters, that this home does require the ability to climb a full flight of exterior stairs with your luggage to enter & access the living areas of the home.

Wonderful View/comfortable accommodations

Nice, well kept house away from the hustle & bustle of Bar Harbor for our first visit to the Coast of Maine. Loved having morning coffee on the deck with the view of the harbor and ocean and then at night sitting out taking in the star-filled sky. Only suggestion would be to leave either the porch or garage light on on the day someone new is checking in for the first time. We arrived well after dark and had a hard time seeing where the door was to enter the house.

Very peaceful

This property worked very well for our family of 5 as a quiet alternative to staying in Bar Harbor for our exploration of Acadia. It’s very convenient to the Schoodic Penninsula portion of the park, and we really liked that less visited part of the park. The town of Sorrento is very peaceful, and it was nice wandering down the waterfront in the evening. The deck view from the house is lovely, and I spent a wonderful afternoon out there reading and enjoying the wearher. Our only complaint about the property is that the mattress in the second bedroom really needs an upgrade. The master, daybed in the master, and the futon in the basement were all very comfy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place for us, four old college roommates getting together to hang out after 40 years. We loved waking up each morning to see the harbor full of lobster boats in the early fog, so rustic. The place is homey, comfortable and well taken care of. If you need a fourth bed you might want to bring an inflatable one like we did as the sofa may not be your cup of tea (if you like to spread out). Highly recommended!
