"Cozy cabin in very quiet neighborhood just outside of Southwest harbor. Hosts provide great info on local hikes, restaurants, etc. Stairs to upper bedroom are indeed steep as advertised but sleeper sofa on ground level is very comfortable. Outdoor firepit perfect way to finish the day. Would definitely stay here again. "

A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. "We loved everything about The Inn on Mount Desert. The staffers were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was made to order for us.
