When you are ready to hit the beach, walk in the bicycle lane past four houses (no streets to cross) to a dune crossover with no public parking (=less crowded!). It is a short walk to beach access and has all the amenities you could ask for. It’s a quick and easy drive to the grocery store, shops, and even a few restaurants north and a quick drive south to Surf City. Pets are welcome and there’s a nice fenced in space for doggos to run. Host was very responsive to any of our questions and gave us great travel tips to avoid heavy traffic areas and shopping times. Check in and out was very easy and we had no issues. The owners were very responsive and were kind enough to give dining recommendations (highly recommend Riverview Cafe in Sneeds Ferry...awesome fried seafood at a reasonable price). This house was perfect for our family of four and one big dog! It had the best layout of any house we’ve stayed in before, and there were amazing views of the sound and ocean from the rooftop deck, with lots of great places to relax on different porches! We came to relax and have some fun. There was so much to do just at the house itself. Hosts did an awesome job at having everything we needed available. The home is clean and has lots of room for everyone. Wonderful relaxing spaces and an open kitchen family room for those rainy days. The location is perfect for sightseeing or beach time. For the beach it is a quiet and enjoyable beach. Lots of space to spread out and have fun. All you can possibly need is there for you. The home is within easy distance of stores, restaurants and things to do. The owner was so easy to talk to and helpful in all aspects of the stay. The walk to the beach was short but along a busy road. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed (for the home and the beach). The house was full of so many games and fun things to do. The rec room was an added bonus and was a great way to spend time. All of the decks on the house had seating. The rooftop deck was our favorite way to spend drinking coffee and seeing the sunrise and sunset. The owners were so helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great time! ##### julie k. The A/C wasn't working properly. I texted Lisa to let her know that it was not cooling. Phillip came out & checked out the situation. He went on a Sunday & bought 2 window units to make sure that we stayed cool. They called or texted us several times to make sure that we were OK. The unit was replaced on Thursday.
