"Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online). Staff and service was fantastic as were the views. The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property."

We made a nice dinner in the little kitchen with our unit. There is a small grocery store about 5km away with a nice selection of things to cook. Eating on our porch was very nice. "The staff did not care to assist me in any way. My sofa bed was not made up. They asked me to open it myself, telling me the linens, pillows and the towels are all already inside. When I asked if the sheets and everything was new or has been sitting around inside the bed for a while , the answer I was given was “ I think so, I don’t know”. I asked if housekeeping can come to take care of this and was told they don’t do that. I wouldn’t trust the cleanliness of these sheets or pillows. When...

"Stayed overnight on a roadtrip. Late check-in (after midnight), no problem. Bed was very comfortable, room was big enough for all four (kids got a cute bunk bed) and very clean. Next day breakfast buffet was good with excellent bacon and eggs. Considering the price of the stay all of this was way above my expectations, would definitely overnight there again on future trips."
