"I understand the construction, but perhaps you should not have certain rooms booked until it’s completed. 2 of the 4 elevators were working. so I took the long way to my room, where the key card did not work. so I went all the way back down to the desk where I was ignored while other guests were being checked in. I was upset at this because I feel like I should have been helped first. they came in AFTER I got back down to the desk. so that was my start.
the construction noise was right outside my room and prevented me from sleeping in on my holiday. I also was unsure if my temperature control was working so I called down to the desk to ask for someone to come show me how to work it. an hour and 14 minutes after I called no one had came up or called so I walked all the way back to the desk where 3 desk agents were comparing the veins in their hands. the gentleman that did finally come to my room said he didn’t know how to work it either since it was new, so he suggested keeping the window open with the noise.
I was so disappointed in this hotel. the bed was hard and pillows way too soft which is a personal preference so nothing on your part. Breakfast was ok. The location is the only positive thing I can say, and I really hate that.
I had splurged on this hotel because of the location and I was celebrating visiting my last country in eastern europe. this was the worst hotel I stayed at on this 10 day trip and was the highest rated.
I definitely learned my lesson."
