"The apartment we got was not as shown on the Expedia website!We complained but the agent had no other to show.We accepted it however. Absentee owned, it had a great kitchen but was not really comfortable, with slithery plastic sofas. No views. Poor layout. Classy area close to lovely waterfront, but quite a climb uphill. Lacked top sheets and light blankets. (Had to purchase them ourselves!) TIny uselessly dim lamps in bedrooms. Shower stall too small. Maid service ok. No concierge, no land...

"The hotel was conveniently located with nearby restaurants and the bus stop right outside. It was a 20 minute walk to the Valletta ferry or you could take the bus. The bus is €2 regardless of how far you go! The hotel staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean and the rooftop pool had plenty of loungers. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen. Plenty of choice and always topped up during service. We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back!"
