"We booked the Trailblazer very last minute after a change of plans on our part. We were looking for a quiet getaway within a 2-hour drive of NoVA and were delighted to find that this place was available. The property was very clean, and the beds/furniture/appliances are all in excellent condition. We enjoyed the various social spaces (so we all weren't crammed into one room), the hot tub, the pool table, and close access to nature trails and parks. The downtown area is close - a 15 minute drive - and has a very cool cat house and an amazing candy store. We also recommend the delicious pizza and gelato at the Crust of Independence."

"Great place for a stay-cation away from home! The house was very clean and accommodated all of us comfortably. The downstairs suite of two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, a full bathroom and a living room was prefect for the family-within-the family. All other bedrooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. There were plenty of dishes and cookware for us to prepare all meals daily. Communication with our host was most efficient via texting. Questions were answered and problems were resolved fastest through text. A few minor things would have made our stay even better: extra bathroom towels and more chairs for the deck, especially since the house has five bedrooms, two chairs are not enough to enjoy the outside space together. Given the opportunity, though, we'd do it all over again in the house!"

"Property is lovely, and is exactly as described and as shown in listing. Home was immaculately clean, the owners clearly care about their property. We really appreciated the well appointed kitchen, screened in porch, the firewood supply, and ample bath towels. Our group of 9 unanimously agreed the beds are all extremely comfy, and the home fit our group perfectly. The three teens loved the pool table and played pool more than they stared at their screens, which was a big win. Hosts were very easy to rent from, very responsive the few times I reached out with questions before our arrival. Take note the driveway is VERY steep, Would rent again, great property and great hosts."

"What a great small cabin in the woods! We had such a great time staying there and exploring the area. Host was great and communicated well. Check-in was super easy! Only negatives things to report is the cleanliness. Recommend bringing your own sheets if planning to use the sofa bed. Other than that we loved it and look forward to coming back!"

"The property was quiet and peaceful, with lots of trails to explore. It was about 15 minutes to downtown Berkeley Springs. The owners were very helpful and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!"

"When choosing this property, we had a budget and decided to stay a few shorter days to stay here because of how it looked in the pictures. The pictures are accurate in what is there, but we thought it looked more updated in the pictures than what it actually is. I didn’t want to rate it negatively because maybe I should have looked closer,…. maybe, but for the cost I think that made us expect newer. With that being said, it is comfortable and homey. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the many birds that come to the feeders. We also walked the moss trail a couple of times. The host was very accessible and was a very easy check-in process."

"The house was perfect for three adults, a toddler, and a baby. The children loved dancing within the screened in porch, and playing outside in the back yard. We saw family of deer and geese during our stay as well. All rooms were clean and the furniture was comfortable. We especially loved the stocked kitchen, and the beautiful dining table. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful property!"
