Mountain Retreat w Hot Tub, Grill, Deck & More!

"Cedar Owl Lodge was an absolutely delightful place for a mountain getaway. The living/dining area is spacious with cathedral ceilings and an abundance of windows filling the place with natural light during the day. The master bedroom was roomy and had its own bathroom with his/hers sinks and both a shower and a soaking tub, and the other two bedrooms were comfortable. We all enjoyed spending time soaking in the hot tub on the deck! We didn't make much use of the kitchen, as we mostly ate at local restaurants, but the coffeepot worked well, and the oven and microwave worked well for reheating leftovers. We didn't use the grill, fireplace, or fire pit - maybe if we come back in the winter! If we come this way again, we'd stay at Cedar Owl in a heartbeat."

"The owners were such a pleasure to work with and made the process extremely easy. The only thing was I thought the headline was misleading. It said 5 bedrooms when there was really 3. That could been a problem but wasn't for me. Other than that I couldn't be happier with the host and the property, I would definitely stay there again!!"

"My family had a fantastic time at The Honey Bear House. It was so clean and inviting. Plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and relax. Close to all the fun. Melissa is the BEST host!! Responded very quickly to any questions we had. I’ll definitely book it again if I’m in the area."

"When choosing this property, we had a budget and decided to stay a few shorter days to stay here because of how it looked in the pictures. The pictures are accurate in what is there, but we thought it looked more updated in the pictures than what it actually is. I didn’t want to rate it negatively because maybe I should have looked closer,…. maybe, but for the cost I think that made us expect newer. With that being said, it is comfortable and homey. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the many birds that come to the feeders. We also walked the moss trail a couple of times. The host was very accessible and was a very easy check-in process."

"We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed our vacation. The place was clean,cool and comfortable, and a nice spot to relax.There were just a few minor issues. The grass could have been mowed before our arrival, which would have made the outdoor area more enjoyable. We also weren't able to use the hot tub for the first 24 hours, which was a little disappointing. The shower head didn't work quite as intended, although that may have been due to low water pressure rather than the shower itself.Despite those small inconveniences, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for providing a great place for our vacation!"
