"We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect, the staff was great and very friendly. The breakfast was vast and delicious. Easy to park. Easy to get in and get out. Very informative. Lots of papers and guides to guide you through the area and the hotel. "

"I am very disappointed with our stay for 2 nights. First, I arrived at 1:30pm and can’t get into front entrance door at all because I need a code which I did not receive until 2:37pm. I was waiting outside of the front door. One of the lady work happen to pass by and saw us (me & my husband) with 2 luggages waiting outside and asked why I don’t get inside and said I should receive the code which I did not. She brought me to the receptionist, immediately the receptionist told me I still owe city tax without any greeting. I had prepaid my 2 nights of room & board months ago and the first thing you see me is asking for 7 euros of city tax, give me a break, please. Secondly are the water temperature and pressure not consistent and stable. I end up not washing my hair for 2 nights of my stay because I was waiting in the shower too long for the water temperature and pressure to be stable. I guess it depends on how many people are taking showers the time we showered. I do not recommend the B&B at all. "

"The hotel is immediately located beyond the train station, and is central to shops and restaurants. From my room, I experienced beautiful views of the mountains and enjoyed natural light within the well maintained and nicely decorated room. Staff were incredibly kind and the restaurant served tasteful meals each night of my stay. I highly recommend Hotel Schwarzwaldhof Gutzweiler for anyone traveling to Hinterzarten and/or Ravenna Gorge. Also, it is only one train stop from Lake Titisee, making it a perfect spot for access, too. "

"It's cozy design, clean, comfort, and amazing services. It's best option to start the vacation. The location is perfect near higher waterfall in Germany, Cucu watch bigger on the world and the black forest. Recommend it "

"Was fairly easy to find, conveniently located if you are going to the Christmas Market int he Ravine. Although the email said we had to collect the key from the safe due to late check in, there was someone at the reception who not only checked us in but walked us to the room & showed us around. Room itself was clean, cosy & warm. added bonus was there is ZERO light pollution so the night ky was amazing!"

"Room was clean and enjoyed having bunk bed for the kids. Rated 4-stars as the bed was way to firm and room did not have any small fridge or anything."

"Good sized rooms and a huge bathroom. Very Clean and well maintained. We even had a balcony opening up to great surrounding views. "

"Decent location close to Titisee and shops.Parking is a bit tight on a blind corner so care needed.The place needs some TLC. Kitchen cupboard worn, freezer compartment wouldn't close properly and a small fridge for a family of 4.Place feels like it needs a bit of updating, and like above TLC. Pool table is great but the bumpers are a loose so not able to play properly. Projector needs a new bulb, but a great thing to have.Sofa was great and well cleaned and stocked with cleaning stuff etc.Bedrooms were big with lots of storage,with some great views up the valley"
