"First, let me say that I understand that the Delaware hotel is an old historic hotel that has undergone renovations. And should be recognized as such. Having said that there are some things I believe future guests should know. First and foremost is that the rooms are all on the second and third floor and there is not any type of Elevator. The steps can be very steep and narrow, and I became concerned about numerous people as I watch them drag down. Again, this was not a problem for me specifically but I’m not sure how clearly that is described. Next is that due to the age of the hotel, there are some issues, including a very slanted floor in my room to the extent that my bed had blocks of wood under the two legs of the headboard to make it level. The door hardware literally fell off in the bathroom, and I was temporarily trapped in there while my companion works to get me out. The floorboards creak and groan as you would expect 100 year-old building to do. However, given that I had someone in the room above me, it did become annoying every time they moved around. There are virtually no amenities. The coffee station was perpetually out of coffee and creamer every morning. The restaurant had a very limited menu. However, if you are looking to stay in a historical and revived building with an amazing location on Harrison Avenue than this is the place. I was not disappointed in my stay as I anticipated some of these challenges."

"Our stay was wonderful! Eileen communicates quickly. The on-site property caretaker is very personable. We saw him a couple of times during our stay and each was brief and courteous. We had a sizable group of adults, children, and dogs and the accommodations completely met our needs. The house is well-stocked. You won’t even realize it is off the grid. Highly recommend!"

"The property was clean and beautiful but needed a good cracks and crevice cleaning - there were cob webs, cloudy windows, and a few spiders. The kitchen had everything we needed - that is not always our experience with rentals, so that was a nice surprise! We will definitely stay again - the area is stunning and perfect for a get away!"

"I booked this for 3 Days Fri, Sat & Sun. I was unable to check in on Friday we were running late and did not arrive Until 0330 on Sat morning. But everything was good when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay on Sat night, everything was Beautiful, Clean and Comfortable. Excellent place to stay I would highly recommend it for anyone interested. Unfortunately due to time constraints with our business, we had to leave at 1:00 PM on Sunday. Even though we were unable to stay Sunday Night. I was very pleased with everything. I would have liked to have more coffee available when we arrived. There were 4 of us an only one coffee pouch. Would have loved to make more coffee for the 4 of us. That was my only issue."
