"The unit was very clean, loved the sauna but due to weather we were not able to use Hot tub. Great location for Northern lights if weather permitted."

"We stayed for two nights, and it was luxurious while also comfortable! Situated below the picturesque church and across from gas, hot dogs, a pub, and our ice cave meeting point, it couldn’t have been more convenient!"

"The guesthouse we stayed in was clean and cozy with some great views of the ocean from on top of the hill. It's about 15 minutes outside of Vik and is also close to some wonderful scenic views and locations to access while we were in the area!"

Absolutely amazing place. 360 views of most wonderful scenery including glacier. Well designed rooms with big build in wardrobes. Fabulous leaving room with an open kitchen. Sauna and hot tab is an added bonus. Very welcoming host.

Great location - easy to park, and room was very comfortable. Overall a great spot to stay.
Free breakfast had a lot of options (including for my wife who is dairy + gluten free)
Did not eat dinner in the restaurant (though looked good) as explored the local town which had lots of tasty options as well.

Lovely hotel, fantastic food and a great location for exploring the vicinity (glaciers, waterfall and lakes). The food was not too expensive by Icelandic standards and was truly delicious. Breakfast was great, continental buffet. Room was good value. We walked up the road from the hotel on our first night and saw a spectacular display of the northern lights, so didn't need to utilise the hotel's offer to give a wake up cal to see them overnight. The staff were friendly.

The property is as advertised and very comfortable stay. The cooking facility is lovely to have. I will advise people to buy what they need to cook before arrival as the property is far from grocery store and the main road. We had a clear night sky and it allowed amazing star gazing and aurora (northern lights) spotting as there was low light pollution if you walk far enough away from the property. The only comment is to include wine bottle opener.

The location is breathtaking. Each room has its own panoramic view and direct access to the outside space. The shower box is a bit too small. There’s ev charging outside. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast.

Accomodation was good in general but a little smaller than we had imagined. Also we were two couples and thought we had booked a 2 double bedroom cottage but we had two rooms with bunk beds and one bedroom with two single beds and literally no luggage storage space in the rooms. We had to use the lounge area and one of the bedrooms as our storage space. The location was ideal for visiting Eastern Iceland, staff were friendly, and views were good from the cottages.

A must stay, we stayed here during a tour of the south and out of the five places we stayed this was by far our favourite. It is clean, comfortable with a fantastic location and very warm hosts.

Best location at Vik, directly looking at Dyrhólaey Lighthouse and endless black beach with nothing in between to obstruct the view.. Beautifully designed, well organised apartment , very spacious for our family of 3.. Sofa bed was really fancy and comfy as well. Spotlessly cleaned and lots of storage, we enjoyed our 2 nights thoroughly over here..

High quality apartment. Quiet, comfy beds. Washer and dryer included. Convenient location. Only small improvement would be to have Netflix available on the TV.
