"We had a wonderful last minute stay and couldn’t fault the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, our room was clean and spacious which was ideal ans we were a family of three with our dog. The hotel was beautifully decorated inside, outside had some benches and a garden area to enjoy- the only reason for taking a star away was because they were having work done so some areas not unkept to usual standard but it didn’t bother us. We had a delicious evening roast and freshly cooked breakfast. Would recommend a stay at this quiet spot close to lots of attractions and scenic walks for all. "

"This was an old building renovated as a hotel by the river. Excellent location for a week or weekend, great local amenities and on site restaurant and bar with outside dining area, all by the river. Would recommend this to anyone who is in the area."

"Bar was well stocked with what ever you required. There was not a beach view as it was on the street leading to the beach.The room was clean and compacted and the staff were very good and helpful."

"Check-in was very good by Harriet, Chelsea took us to our room and explained all amenities. I am in a wheelchair and found ramps to all areas and the lift very good. We stayed for 2 nights and I received some sweets as it was my birthday. The hotel has its own secure car park with rising bollards at the entrance. Check-out was wonderful, by Aidan and Chelsea. We will stay again."
