"Amazing resort, the stay was wonderful and beautiful"

"Beyond PERFECT! We had an amazing stay at this resort. The staff were outstanding from start to finish - friendly, attentive and always willing to accommodate our requests. The infinity pool overlooking the sea was absolutely breathtaking -Allowing for some amazing sunsets. Happy hour was also a nice surprise with an assortment of cocktails both with/without alcohol. The beach front was very clean with pure white sand crystal clear water and several little shops down the beach. We stayed in a pool villa which was very private, spacious and extremely clean. The resort also had a great variety of food and drinks options - all of which were excellent. Several massage and restaurants located within steps of the grounds. Overall this was the perfect experience and we would definitely stay here again!!!! Bonus, you can even buy the hotel beach bag as a souvenir!!! "

"what we liked: the Staff is very helpful and friendly, we got greeted with a welcome drink. The beach is really amazing, it is clean, great for swimming, it is not overcrowded like many beaches, perfect for a walk along the beach. The hotel has several chairs, we always found one and you can put them so you are in the shade under a tree or in the open. the Bungalows are very nice and the whole area is beautiful set up so you can listen to birds. You are close to the little town - so you could walk if needed. We were eating a few times at the restaurant, it is not much more expensive and you have a wonderful view on the sea or can watch a sunset and the food is really good. What was not our favorite: we were not aware that there were so many families with children - it starts in the morning at breakfast and if you are near the two main pools, you will always hear children screaming or not being happy. We did avoid this pool area during our whole stay - as we wanted some peace and quiet. This main pool area as it looks nice, the water in the pools is not clean at all - I would not go in them. the breakfast buffet has many options, but it is not the highest quality. The wifi is a come and go, in our room it often didn't work, but it did work in the main area only a bit slow. Overall we liked our stay - as the beach is wonderful."

"Perfect on the beach. Good food happy hour bar. Great pool. We stayed in the cheaper rooms up towards the main road still good but basic. We changed rooms as ours was not available but the upgraded room was not as nice no balcony no wardrobe. The cheapest was the better one. But the ones by the beach looked amazing. Koh lanta was my favourite place. And we really loved our time here. 7/11 opposite hotel and an fantastic pizza restaurant too "

"Exceptional family-run hotel with genuine hospitality Aloha Lanta was one of the highlights of my stay in Koh Lanta. The location is excellent, directly in front of the beach in Saladan and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, walking street, and the ferry terminal. Even though it is very central, it sits at the end of a quiet dead-end street, which makes it peaceful. I stayed in two rooms, first a town-facing balcony room and later a sea view room. Both were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds are firm, typical Thai style, but comfortable with great pillows. The sea view was beautiful. The rooms are simple but well maintained and practical. What truly makes this place special is that it is run by a local Thai family. My flight was delayed and I arrived close to 11 pm, even though reception normally closes at 9 pm. The manager waited for me, welcomed me with a beer, and offered food. Throughout my stay they helped book activities, arranged laundry, ensured daily cleaning, and were always available. When I became ill, they took excellent care of me. Some furniture shows signs of age, but everything is clean and well cared for. The value for money is excellent. I would absolutely return."
