We arrived at the property and were amazed at the location with such magnificent views. The kitchen was great and two fridges for our food. Great counter space. The large family room was awesome. We brought our own movies as we knew no internet or cell phone service was available. The owner also had movies. Bedrooms were nice. We had ages of 1 year old' 5 year old' a teenager' and grandparent who is 80 years old. All of us lived it. The ease of being able to ride our ATV'S without loading them was the best benefit. Mark Weber is amazing to work with and very kind and accommodating. We will be back.
Due to a local law change concerning OHV not allowed in Silverton Colorado this property is excellent. We were able to ride our OHV’s from the property no need to trailer or paid fee’s to park our trailers. The property has everything you need coffeepots, gas grill, and plenty of cooking utensils. We had 10 people in our group and the property had plenty of room to accommodate us. I will definitely stay here again.
My husband and I took a trip to Colorado to get married, all of our friends came with us. We are big on side by sides and razors! We love silverton but hate the loading and unloading process everyday. This was perfect! We had the best 4 days, can’t wait to come back!
The site was perfect located, close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the quietness of the mountains and all the beautiful scenery. Once we parked, we never got in our vehicles again until we left. There is plenty of room for vehicles. We brought one bumper pull trailer that parked at the beginning of the driveway. Our gooseneck got left at the bottom of the hill. None of that will detour us from coming back and staying again! Beautiful property and house! 100% worth it!
We had a total of 6 family members staying this trip and everything was amazing! The check-in was easy, communication with owner was easy and the views each morning were breathtaking. The trip to Silverton is only a few miles and there are many things to do. Would definitely recommend for an off the grid stay! We even saw a Moose with twin calves!
We absolutely loved this place! It was unbelievably clean! Props to the cleaning lady. Everyone had a place to sleep and it was a large enough space that we were not crowded. The old mine ruins on the property are so interesting to see. Everyone needs to check out this place and the town of Silverton CO!
Had a great time 12 adults with 6 children. We brought UTVs to ride for the week and it worked out absolutely perfect. We were able to ride to any of the local trails highly recommend!
Good place to stay to ride all the trails around silverton
we had 9 people stay at this cabin everybody had a bed and the views were wonderful. Nice place to stay if you ride side by sides or bikes. Ride right off the property and your on a trail.
We genuinely enjoyed our time in the bunkhouse. It's the perfect distance from Silverton to grab groceries, supplies, etc.. I grew up driving to see the view of old hundred mine, so being able to wake up and drink coffee looking up at it in the mountain was really special. The view in general was incredible. It was the perfect house for our family and we are definitely going to stay here again. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone.
You get what’s advertised. It’s away from town so not much traffic, but it’s fairly easy to access. Communication with the owner was great but it’s best to use the phone when you have a signal. There’s no WiFi or cell phone signal at the cabin currently. Would recommend as long as WiFi or cell phones aren’t important to you
The miner’s bunkhouse suited our needs well! We only had 10 total people and there was room to spare for sleeping comfortably. Not sure where 24 would sleep. Guessing pull out couches etc. The views from the bunkhouse were amazing. We were able to ride to trails on our atv’s straight from there. Very convenient. The driveway up was a little taxing. There’s an old mine on the property with a river running out of it which was cool. But the water chose the driveway as the path of least resistance. Would definitely stay there again!
Owner is very helpful and quick to assist with any needs or concerns. The bunkhouse is a little rough as you would expect, but our group of twenty was very comfortable. A larger group might find it a bit tight, but we loved it. Due to a recent winter storm the parking area need some work. Mark worked hard to get it ready for our arrival. Thanks much, we had a great time.
