The property manager met us at the apartment and led us in. She was quite helpful, explaining how things functioned in the apartment. We were provided a city map which was useful. The kitchen sink and stove were much smaller than they appeared online and not conducive to cooking / preparing anything as the counter was only one foot deep and not very wide. Basically you could make a coffee or a tea but even doing the few dishes was a challenge. It was a heat wave so having air conditioning was essential, particularly as we were on the fourth floor. The AC was not on when we arrived and the apartment barely cooled down by evening. We had to keep the blinds closed at all times to get the place to cool down. The balcony was the best part of the apartment as it looked out onto the countryside and was often in shade. Great to sit outside in the evening. The laundry is not in the apartment itself but in the hallway in a small room which was fine, but the machine itself wasn’t working very well. We gave up and wrung the clothes out by hand. The clothes drying rack was unfortunately broken and we had to prop it up to be able to use it. The shower, blow dryer, stove and fridge all worked well. The hot water heater was also very good. Overall, a decent place to stay if you don’t have heavy bags, it is in a great location and has key amenities. ##### Maria S. After climbing the 74 stairs (we had already been stair-training in Amalfi and Vieste..!), we were charmed by the apartment; clean, comfortable, well-appointed, but the terrace sealed the deal! The drain in the bathroom was completely clogged and we had to use towels to clean up the water. The owner was responsive and sent a plumber when we called. The problem was fixed but the smell from the drain persisted for the next day. The bedroom furnishings were shabby at best and the furniture in general needed to be replaced. I have stayed in many VRBO apartments and I have never written a negative review but the cost of this apartment far exceeded my expectations. ##### LUANN T.
