The street or alley was a dirt road with huge pot holes and piles of garbage. It would be about a 15 minute unpleasant walk to the town center. There was construction going on next to hotel. The hotel was worn out. No lift. Stayed with my family for 5 days 4 nights. Hotel room was spacious,clean & free of insects & no smoking smell in the room. However,the shower temperature was unstable. Water will be cold & super hot afterwards. Need to adjust the water temperature on and off while showering. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Can request for breakfast to be packed if need to go for sunrise tour at Angkor Wat as early as 5am. Breakfast choices were limited but edible. Great small pool. Very clean water and can chill out by the pool after a long day tour at the temples. Fantastic 5 star stay at this small hotel. Swimming pool was lovely. ...hotel very clean, comunal areas and our room....staff were lovely and friendly and also efficent....arranged trips for us at very reasonable priced....breakfast was great and cooked to order, lovely fresh fruit every day....in a neighbourhood with other small boutique hotels mixed in with cambodian houses and people going about their daily lives which was domething we really liked. The staff at check in set the tone for the entire stay as their professionalism and customer service were far above average, yet very genuine. The room itself was spacious and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill our every request, which included assistance with printing and scanning a few documents which I had to send home for work purposes. Landing Point is in a great location --- on the quiet side of the bridge and away from Pub Street, but just a short walk or quick Tuk-Tuk to restaurents, bars and shopping. Not only it has a great pool for relaxing in the evening after long walks around the temples and service is great, they also contribute to the local community by buying everything locally, contracting locals and helping them to develop their lives and careers. We really loved the place!
