There is no restaurant or any food option, really. And it is out of the way making it difficult to plan for breakfast when we had early morning tours booked. Also, we had to request clean towels and toilet paper, and room service was not provided each day. Siem Reap is just beginning to re-open to tourism after 2 years of Covid closure: This has placed an enormous burden on small family-run hotels (most of the bigger hotels/resorts were shut down). Java Wooden has done a far better job than most places in maintenance, staffing and general standards. We expected for there to be some "roughing it," and were pleasantly surprised at how well things worked out. Staff, above all, were straightforward about what they could and could not do-- and that's all that any visitor could ask.
