Unfortunately the hotel itself had seen better days. It is dated, and sadly not very well cleaned or maintained. The pool area is pleasant but the area was littered with cigarette ends that weren’t cleaned up for days. Reception staff were helpful. Tuk tuk and taxi fares seemed fixed by the hotel, but appeared reasonable. Breakfast was ok. Drinks and food in the hotel seemed expensive compared with outside. Best is that it is a short drive to all of the historic Angkor sites. The Frangipani chain is well known in Cambodia for its great staff and very secure locations. While it's not a 5 star hotel, the staff always do their best to make your stay a top star experience. There are always Tuk Tuk drivers outside waiting for guests or you can take a short walk to nearby cafes and bars. The breakfast buffet is good and filling each morning and has a decent spread to get you started. Seems to be the same menu as the l Fragipanni hotel in Phnom Penn . The pool is decent sized and the breakfast buffet has everything. I booked a single room and the room was really just for a single person, rather small.
