Its youthful staff is a counterpoint that emphasises, rather than hides, her noble but losing struggle. Once the finest hotel on Sok San Road, now she is surrounded by a bevy of younger, finer, and more expensive beauties. Yet she still stands, faded, patched, but proud. Right in the middle of the popular areas. The restaurant was delicious and breakfast was great. The property was old, and the linens were stained. The mattress was terrible and the shower was hot/cold, but never a consistent temperature. The pool was pretty dingy.
