Our train was cancelled and they came to pick us up at Bandai Altima at a cost which was terrific. There actually is a bus from Koriyama to the Ski Resort however the bus station seemed unable to tell us that. It would have been good information from Reitopia also. "Location is a little far from the station, 25 win walk, but it had a (small) onsen. Hotel site says there is a convenience store ten minutes away, but there’s actually a large supermarket right next to the hotel and open till 10pm."

One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction."
