The view from the hotel is magnificent. The Japanese style rooms are spacious and quiet. I speak survival level Japanese, but there were a lot of communication problems so be ready to have your translator handy. It’s best to have a car to get around the shuttle service was hard to schedule and when returning from the station, they leave exactly at the hour they won’t wait one minute for you during the crowded summer months you cannot get dinner served in your room so you have to eat and the buffet which had good quality for food, but it was still an expensive buffet

スタッフのデヴィさんがとても気さくで親切にしてくださり、充実した旅行になりました。夜中に小腹が空いたので、大浴場近くの軽食店でラーメンを食べました。そこのご主人も人当たりが良く、また利用したいと思うお店でした。お風呂からの眺めも良く、海を見渡しながらお湯に浸かれるのはとても満足できます。夏だと虫がいるため露天風呂の利用は人によっては抵抗があると思いますが、秋以降のオフシーズン時に利用するのが良いかもしれません。

ビューホテル、ありがとう。

部屋からの景色は、言葉を失うほど美しく、感謝の一言です。質問や不明な点は、スタッフの方が敏速に対応してくださいました。 一つだけ改善していただきたいのは、朝食の時、ソルト＆ペッパーがないことです。ソーセージや卵にペッパーをかけたかったのに、スタッフの方に聞いてもないということでした。スクランブルエッグが、水っぽいのもちょっといただけないと思いました。 温泉をとても楽しめました。 ありがとうございました。

値段の割には部屋が狭いのと、スタッフの方の対応が悪いわけではないんですが、毎回布団の並べ方が違ったり、なんでそうする？といった部分が多かったです。 大浴場にもタオルがなく、自分の部屋のを持って行くので、それを海やプールで使うと当然足りなくなるわけで、追加をフロントに依頼したら、ちょっと嫌な顔をされました。 ちょっとした問題がいくつもある気がします。 再訪はしないですね。

下田ならここがいいと思います。

ホテルの設備はさすがに古いですが、ロケーションは素晴らしく、大浴場、露天風呂ともに、とても気持ちの良いホテルです。 食事は部屋出しではありませんが、十分なスペースのある大広間で、ゆったりとおいしい海の幸をいただけます。 サービスもとてもよく、気持ちよくくつろぐことができます。 部屋から眺める外浦海岸、大島、豊島、新島、三宅島も絶景。 泊まって損のないホテルです。

酒店露台外望，一望無際的海洋，令人喜出望乌外

酒店在山上，確实是休聞的住處。但由放位置偏僻比較適合自駕遊，因為要到下田市區，大約也要十五分車程。但基本設備是不錯的。但整潔適較為差一点。但整體來說都是可以的。最令人滿意的是每個房間都是向海的，擁有無敵大海景。

The view is what's keeping this hotel going. It has no food on the property, no coffee in the room, just the tea (which is ok tea but nothing to start your morning with). It's very far from town and requires a $15 cab ride or 40 minute walk to get in - which would be ok if the place had somewhere to eat or was near other restaurants. But it does not other than a ramen restaurant that is open for 3 hours in the evening. SO plan ahead. Unfortunately my stay here was less than restful as the front desk called me about 8 times between check in and check out. Staff was very nice but it was frustrating to be bothered so much and have to run in and out from the balcony just to answer the phone about things that were irrelevant. Also, the futons are very thin. BUT the view. Wow is the view worth all of it. In sum: bring food with you, don't plan on going into town or plan ahead on your transportation costs ($30+ each day to get back and forth), and enjoy the view.
