"Vindolanda is a stylish crofters cottage that has been thoughtfully and comfortably renovated. It is well equipped and has everything you need. We loved that each room has a fantastic view over the loch and the mountains. Also, it is great for two couples as it has two similar sized stylish bedrooms. The bathroom has a super shower and bath. "What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself -...

"From our arrival through to our departure, The Birdhouse surpassed our expectations. It's beautifully designed and it's in an amazing location. Kristen and Gregor are perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. There are lots of stunning walks and scenery to explore in Applecross Bay.
