"A quiet and peaceful spot."

"We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

"What a unique property! If you are looking for solitude, rustic but totally unique accommodation, and a delightful and informative host, this place will suit you. No TV, no neighbors, just the tranquility of the lake! Great cooking facilities. Parking is tough but doable. Thanks for 2 great nights and the hike you recommended- superb!"

"Home is lovely with a nice backyard in a quiet neighborhood with play area across the street. We could easily walk to grocery store and downtown Portree. There were some issues with maintenance while we were there, but that couldn’t be helped."

"Arriving at this property, it looked like a construction zone. We hardly had room to turn in to be off the street. When I called, the property manager met us and informed us that the deck was being redone which should have been finished when we arrived, but obviously wasn't. She assured us that we would not be bothered and honestly, we were not bothered in the least after we settled in. We still should have been advised of the project prior to arriving. "We stayed for three nights at this amazing cottage and loved every minute. The house has a quaint atmosphere, but all the modern amenities was very clean. It’s only 15 minutes from Portree so we ate out one night and cooked in for tonight. Fridge was large, and the kitchen was equipped with, most of the basics we needed. The beds were comfy and the view is out of this world. If you were planning to do laundry, the washer and dryer does work, but takes quite a while to dry. Our only suggestion...
