The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too.

Lovely location, staff very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and well stocked with coffee etc. View from our room was stunning and the temperature in the room was perfect, the ability to open the window at night was good. The menu was not the largest and didn't change through the week but the food we did have was excellent.

Great hotel, reasonably priced room and food. Food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Great quality large mattress on the bed and large flat screen TV. Loved the bear and wellies as room accessories to indicate 'do not disturb' or 'please clean room'. Homemade shortbread in the room was a nice touch. Fire in bar very cheerful, made for a good atmosphere. Stunning views from the dining room. Can't fault it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Marmalade and wished we had more time to stay even longer. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we had on our 3-week trip, the views are incredible, beds comfortable, and facilities / grounds very clean and beautiful. 10/10 highly recommend!

A beautiful property in a very quiet village, which we loved. A really good base to travel around the Isle of Skye. Breakfast was fab too! We stayed in the manse house and had a large room with double aspect. Great bathroom. Shower was amazing!

This hotel is run by a friendly husband and wife team. I was met by a welcoming receptionist who explained my dining options. I had alternative evening dinner plans but opted for the cooked breakfast. Excellent service served by Becca who delivered a hot breakfast with all the trimings. The food, service and accomodation here would make this hotel my 1st option when I return to Loch Carron.

We had the pleasure of staying with Marion & Moray recently. We survived the applecross pass drive! The complementary wee dram was very welcome after the drive & fighting the midges while watching the sunset at the beach. We were in a top floor room. Chatted with Marion & Moray that evening & over the full breakfast offering, talked about Applecross & some culture, events & travel tips which we were useful and gladly adopted! Price was reasonable for Skye. Warm, cozy, loved every minute!

Great hotel on the water with an excellent restaurant. It was hard to find a hotel on the Isle of Skye, but we were extremely fortunate to find a room here on short notice.

Hotel was really nice we booked last minute and the views near by are amazing Gent on reception/bar/kitchen was really polite and helpful as he was there on his own because of holiday season Internet was down due to a bad storm that made the stay more remote as civilisation and home comforts were almost 1.5 hours away Don’t let that put you off when fully staffed and WiFi working I can only imagine the stay would be even better

Booking in was very easy. There was an envelope left inside the door with my name and room number on. The room was lovely - not huge but big enough for 2 with a lovely bathroom, nice thick towels and hand soap, body wash and shampoo and conditioner in the shower cubicle. The heated towel rail was a nice touch making the bathroom nice and cosy so you weren’t coming out of the shower to a cold room ( nothing worse) There were tea and coffee facilities too with a nice biscuit on the side!
