Great place fabulous rooms, menu and food excellent , staff brilliant Tim the manager and his wife so obliging.

We stayed here in August to attend a wedding nearby so didn't get chance to eat here so we thought we would return. The food was excellent, so was the room, staff and whole experience. There was just one small thing, the first time we stayed we had breakfast in the main bar/restaurant but this time we were seated in a separate room that was just laid out with tables and chairs and it just lacked a bit of atmosphere. The Bell Inn is a delightful property in beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean & bright with a very comfortable double bed. We had an evening meal & breakfast the following morning & the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again 😊

Overnight stay with my colleagues - gorgeous, traditional little place. Evening meal was exceptional (Roast Chicken) and the breakfast options were excellent. We had a slight issue at breakfast where noticed one of the cafetières didn’t seem to have any coffee mixed with the hot water - a bit unlucky when travelling with Italians! But aside from that would definitely book again without hesitation.

The host was very helpful. She was very flexible in allowing us to pick up the keys early on the day of our check in. Despite there being a storm the weekend we stayed, the room was fantastic, lovely breakfast in the morning, and stunning views. If in the area, would definitely look to book again. Thanks.

Was lovely hotel is very clean staff very helpful and friendly, rooms are standard double bed tv bathroom a little small but was only 2 of us and we only slept in there, the pool, hot tub etc was lovely too. Beds are a little uncomfortable gave me and my partner a bad back. Apart from that everything was great!

Really felt at home in this lovely flat. Was perfect for our needs. Beautiful outlook onto the river. Clean, peaceful and well equipped.

Very pleasant stay. Only problem was the herbs on the breakfast as I was not aware of as I would have mentioned it as it affects my stomach problem. Not the mistake of the owners - it was very tasty, but think it should have been mentioned.

lovely rooms, spacious and plenty of storage and a fridge. Good restaurant and good menu, reasonably priced. Nice seating areas to front and rear including a pizza oven. Breakfast was good, though you had to order the previous night, so you are stuck with what you ordered no matter what kind of night you have!

A quirky old building with narrow winding stairs, but a handy lift too

Very warm and friendly welcome by the staff, easy check in, airy, bright and a cozy as well as an inviting lounge area. I really enjoyed my stay in this friendly and welcoming B&B. The room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The breakfast is excellent. The location is convenient and close to local amenities and just a few minutes from the station. Highly recommended!

It was homely. The couple were hospitable & took care of their guests & provided a nice breakfast included in price. Had a well cared for appearance.
