George Albert Hotel & Spa

George Albert Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"The front of the hotel looks old could do with brightening up. But soon as you entre it's a different feeling it's lovely and clean. Very well presented the rooms are large and more than enough space for all your belongings. Well presented room. Room service each day and all things replaced including bottles of water and biscuits. Its the little things that count.parkjng right outside the main door. Good quiet location but easy to get to other towns by car."

Pen Mill Hotel

Pen Mill Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment I walked in the door this hotel gave me a brilliant experience. A really friendly welcome and check-in process. The room was no frills but a really comfortable bed and a large bathroom with very nice towels providing plenty of room to dry off after the shower. Ate in the restaurant and again every member of staff were helpful, attentive and welcoming which was just what I needed after a long day and being on my own. The food was also really very good as well. In the morning the breakfast was cooked fresh and loads of choice. Breakfast bap was perfect for me but I will definitely have the cooked breakfast next time. I will certainly return as felt the overall experience was very good value for money."

Half Moon, Sherborne by Marston's Inns

Half Moon, Sherborne by Marston's Inns

8/10 Good
"We loved this property and area as a whole and to be in Sherborne was fantastic anyway, and so close to the Abbey was beautiful in itself. The in-house staff were brilliant and very helpful too with anything we needed, but I’m afraid the general up keep of the building and facilities in Room 1 (family size) were poor in places like broken fixtures and fittings etc, like the cracked toilet seat lid, the broken (and not working) shaving light and shaver power socket on the mirror in the bathroom which i needed, and the hot tap on the bath which was loose with no coupler attached in behind/underneath which is not great at all really as was nearly turning right round.🚰"

Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester

Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester

10/10 Excellent
"We arrived late at the Sleeping Bear Hotel and the self check-in was incredibly easy and smooth. We simply pressed the green button by the door and followed the instructions. Walking through the hallway, staircase and lovely sitting/living room area with my daughter, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and cosy everything looked. There were lots of comfortable sofas with cushions, making it feel just like home, and we loved that we could make coffee from the machine whenever we wanted. Our room was very clean and cosy, and the mattress was unbelievably comfortable and soft. At check-out, the two lovely ladies at reception even found me a takeaway cup so I could take my coffee with me. A truly wonderful stay — I will definitely be coming back!"

The Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns

The Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns

10/10 Excellent
"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."
