"What a fabulous stay! Mary greeted us as we arrived and she and her staff met all of our expectations! And then some…. The property itself is stunning. The rooms tastefully appointed with such comfy beds. The food incredible - tastiest salmon I’ve had! The entertainment fabulous. We absolutely loved our stay at the Cove. It felt so homey from checkin to dinner to the lovely continental breakfast in the morning. A truly memorable experience. We hope to return!"

Upper Rideau Bed & Breakfast

Upper Rideau Bed & Breakfast

"Where do we begin! The Upper Rideau bnb is by far one of the best bnb’s we’ve had the pleasure to experience. From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by Donna we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and we had our own ensuite that included a large jacuzzi bath ( which we used to soak our tired muscles from two days of kayaking). The breakfast was a chef’s dream with wonderful baked goodies and daily full hot meals of eggs, bacon, fruit and toast. Absolutely, delicious. Highly recommend this place. Hopefully we will be back again in the near future."

The Bobs Lake Paradise

The Bobs Lake Paradise

10/10 Excellent
"The only thing more spectacular than this property was the responsiveness of the host. Throughout our wonderful experience our host was caring without being intrusive. The only time we met was at our request to deal with a small problem that required him to visit and even then he politely requested our consent for him to visit. All enquiries were answered within a few minutes. The property was exceptional in every way. We travelled from Calgary to be there and reconnect with family. It was a perfect venue for rain or shine. On one day we hosted 4 generations of our family for a small reunion which included our 101 year old matriarch who loved it!The experience and the treatment by the host inspired us to leave it as clean as we could and was the topic of discussion numerous times during the long drive home to Calgary."

Love nest cottage, steps to the dock, gorgeous waterfront cottage!

Love nest cottage, steps to the dock, gorgeous waterfront cottage!

8/10 Good
"What can I say we had a wonderful 5 days at Laura's air bnb..the Love Nest is a very calm relaxing place to stay. The cottage itself is very tastefully decorated and it had a comfortable king size bed. Yes there is a hill to get down to the cottage but knowing that ahead of time we came prepared with wheeled luggage so it wasn't to bad. Unfortunately the lake isn't swimable due to weeds and lily pad but on the flipside it allowed us to watch many otters playing in the water and there is a municipal beach within a 7 minute walk or the Sharbot Lake provincial beach 10 minute drive. They don't have potable water which is fine as many cottages don't. Laura was also very responsive to any messages we sent her. We had a very enjoyable time."
