"The room its self was clean but very tired. It was very cold as the window/door lets in a draught (old building) but we were provided with a large blanket on arrival but the electric fire in the room was more for decoration rather than heat. The staff were happy to help with our requests for extra towels and coffee. It was a very unique experience."

"Liked Clean room with a balcony and on the ground floor Friendly helpful and efficient staff Access to beach and town Excellent food Beautiful gardens Subtle Live entertainment Indoor pool was smaller than anticipated"

"An excellent stay and top class service. Breakfast is particularly good."

"Good location with incredible sea views. Unfortunately, with only a few guests there was no breakfast, no food & no bar open which was disappointing."

"Clean room, very good breakfast"

"Staff super helpful and friendly, beds comfy, food and bar perfect"

"Lovely hotel and staff and very convenient Breakfast was delicious"

"We had a super birthday stay at Hope Cottage, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after Christmas/a hectic few weeks. The decor is gorgeous bright and airy. It was spacious, really well appointed and you can really tell that a lot of thought went into making it feel cosy and welcoming. It’s a cracking spot too plenty within walking distance to please both kids and adults and a great base for exploring the Isle of Wight. So glad we found it, it’s such a gem that we’re already planning...

"Fantastic accommodation in the perfect location right on the cliff tops. Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Loved it so much we are going back in a few months. Quite pricey for a weeks stay if only 3 of you, but otherwise it was faultless."

"Perfect location in Shanklin, wonderful views. It’s just a short walk to the old village and Shanklin Chine. The hotel is a little tired in places but overall it was very good. It’s great that you can use the facilities in the sister hotel next door so there’s plenty to enjoy."

"Top service and customer care."

"Could not fault this house at all Not one improvement is necessary simply wonderful"

"Lovely accommodation, perfectly located for the town and the beach. Island Holiday Company answered all questions quickly, will be booking with them again"

"Words cannot explain what a lovely holiday home this is. So much thought, time and effort. There is everything you could want for a family. I will definitely be telling other friends with children this is a must when going to the Isle of Wight. A real absolute treat."

"Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend for families and being on the costal path was a treat. The sea views from the windows was amazing."

"Thank you for accommodating a split week allowing us a short break on the Island and in between work commitments, very flexible. Our stay was more than comfortable, lovely little cottage that seemed bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside. Lovely big kitchen."

"Lovely character and large rooms - great place to stay Better recycling options and facilities"
