We highly recommend couples to stay at the Waldorf Astoria. Our room was stunning — beautifully designed, spotless, high-tech, and incredibly comfortable. The bed, especially, gave us some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling. The staff also thoughtfully prepared a cake for us, and their service throughout our stay was impeccable. From the moment you step into the hotel, you’re greeted with a warm Christmas cinnamon-roll scent that fills the entire space — it instantly made us feel cozy and at home (we stayed during the Christmas season). It was truly a memorable and romantic experience from start to finish.

Waldorf Astoria SH, is a great property, located walking distance next to the bund SH; with many of the better restaurants in SH in walking distance as well; rooms are spacy, clean and confortable; the services is discreet and attentive; i will be re-visting in the future probably;

This was a winner. A fantastic location, large, clean and lovely rooms, and the Waldorf Staff was so kind and helpful. I loved everything about our stay there. Breakfast is lovely, and as an American struggling with chopsticks, I really appreciated the forks. Just a gorgeous and kind place to stay.
