About this property
Apartamento Moderno en el Barrio del Arenal
Real de la Carretería is one of our favourite places to stay—and a real treat for travellers! Top location, eclectic interior, high-end amenities, and a cosy, homely feel. Travelling with your family? Stay close to your loved ones—we have ten other apartments in this beautiful building.
It’s located in the Arenal area, a crossroads between the historic city centre, the Guadalquivir River, the Santa Cruz area, and María Luisa Park. There’s something exciting to discover in every direction—north, south, east, and west!
We love Real de la Carretería’s bright and cheerful atmosphere (practically every room enjoys natural light for many hours a day), as well as its spacious and functional layout, its smart design (every square metre put to good use), and its decorative details full of freshness and charm.
Our apartment has three bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate six guests. The interior is characterised by a natural feel and a preference for timeless materials such as wood, stone, and organic fibres. The decor is eclectic and youthful, with geometric and colourful accents that draw the eye to the details.
From the entrance, you have access to the living area on the right and the sleeping area via a hallway on the left. The living-dining room is bathed in sunlight through a spacious balcony facing the street and is divided into two areas: a relaxation and socialising area, furnished with two comfortable three-seater sofas, a coffee table, and two floor lamps; further inside, there is a dining table that seats six and a TV area.
Next is the fully equipped kitchen, with a minimalist and contemporary style, which blends seamlessly into the decor and the living room, following the distinctive graphic style that characterises the interior design. It remains separate from the living room by a serving hatch and a glass panel wall with panes, which lets in light and allows for an open connection with the living room. It’s the perfect solution for cooking while keeping an eye on the kids, or for enjoying evenings with friends. The low wall of the serving hatch also doubles as a breakfast bar, and the hexagonal tile floor adds the most original decorative touch.
Through a hallway, we reach the private area. Three bedrooms await us. The master bedroom features a comfortable, spacious double bed. Instead of a traditional headboard, there’s a room divider made of wooden slats that splits the room in two and creates a small walk-in closet. It also has a full en suite bathroom. The decor is minimalist and organic—a good night’s sleep is guaranteed!
Next are the second and third bedrooms, both of similar layout and each equipped with two plush single beds, a closet, and side tables to keep luggage and clothes perfectly organised. The decor here is warm and laid-back, natural, and features maritime and botanical accents. They share a second full bathroom.
The Arenal area has become one of the city’s main hubs for enjoying Seville’s leisure activities and cuisine. During the day, it’s the perfect place for interesting cultural outings: a visit to the Reales Atarazanas, the Hospital de la Caridad, or the Teatro de la Maestranza, to name just a few options. Come noon, the area reveals its abundant selection of bars, small taverns, and restaurants, stretching from the Abastos Market to Avenida de la Constitución. Those who enjoy after-work drinks can have a drink in a sophisticated atmosphere near Plaza del Arenal, extend their evening with dinner at one of the many small restaurants in the area—some of which are flagship spots for Seville’s new tapa scene—and wrap up the night in the lively atmosphere of the bars along Paseo de Colón.
Historical Center, a neighbourhood in Seville, is home to this apartment. Seville Cathedral and Giralda Tower are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Plaza de España. Seville Science Museum and Seville Aquarium are also worth visiting. Visit our Seville travel guide
