"The staff make this hotel enjoyable. They are friendly, kind and helpful. I hope management pays them well because without their friendliness, I would rank this property lower. Generally, the property could use a refresh. My room was dark and the furnishings were old and chipped. The curtains should have been replaced years ago. The landscaping and pool areas are lovely, though, good job there. The
breakfast is plentiful. "

"The hotel has nice basic rooms with good bathroom. A muscito net is not standard included, but can be provided by the reception. The bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is sufficient. Dinner options in the hotel are very good: extensive menu and almost everything is well-prepared and good value for money. The beach place is nice, however, at the beach you will be approached by many locals who want to sell something or just want to talk a lot.

"Trips, their cars 4-wheel were very old and packed with people. For example on safari they packed 18 people in car. From other places, as I seen it in the parking lot, they all have smaller cars, 4 or 6 people."

"I had a fantastic stay at Sunset Beach. My room was lovely and was right next to the beach, it was clean, the decor was nice, comfortable bed, with a kettle and mini fridge provided.
The staff were all really helpful and friendly and really made my stay at the hotel special.

all inclusive food was very good, I am a pescatarian and loved all of the fish dishes and fresh tuna available everyday along with the lovely salads and fresh fruit.There was also a nice vegetarian options available...

"It is a good standard for a 2* hotel. Good customer service.
Breakfast could have been more varied, but overall food is acceptable here. Badala Park is surrounded by lush vegetation and is nice and quiet. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, clean, away from the main tourist hub but in easy reach of it, and on a budget, this is the place for you. Great place let down by racial profiling incident
"This was my second time staying at the Kololi Beach Resort, and the hotel itself is great—great location, nice rooms, and excellent front-of-house staff.
However, my stay was ruined by an overzealous security guard who was probably only doing what he had been taught to do - keep Black women out, who they assume all must be "ladies of the night."
was stopped by a security guard who did not approach me with any kind of courtesy and demanded to know what I was doing at the hotel and whether I was staying there. "
