"Superb property with the staff to complement it.The bungalows are perfectly situated so when you walk through and to yours, you already experience paradise. A tropical beauty. The on-site restaurant offers traditional Honduran dishes all prepared to order and so delicious! Then you walk through the blue door and to the dock ON THE WATER to watch the most beautiful sunset. We've done a lot of traveling and vacationing and this vacation was absolutely unmatched. Ditch the busy, noisy, crowded resort style stay and experience a stay at Puerta Azul instead."

"Arrived at 10:00 pm and the shower would not work. Called Hotel.com and the hotel office and no one could dispatch maintenance. They arrived at 8:00 next morning. This shower head was defective so it lets me know house keeping did not clean the shower area properly. Plus the A/C was turned down to 16 and it would not cool the apartment. So for this visit and unit, I was not happy."

"Rooms were nice, and very clean. The staff were kind and accommodating. Restaurant service could be more prompt, and directions could be clearer, but overall, a great and convenient place to stay right by the airport."

"What a great spot! I have stayed at several places in Roatan and this is by far one of the best! Super clean! The staff is super attentive and super friendly! Never once did they make me feel like me and my partners were unwanted! Such a lovely spot and super private! 10/10 would recommend!"

"There is construction going on the 3rd floor and I was given a room right next to it. I booked to have a peaceful night stay before my flight in the morning and I was not able to get any rest. The room itself is clean. There was also some guy sleeping in the construction area/hallway which scared me as I was the only one on this floor and I heard movement in the night and saw him. The security talked to him but I’m not sure if he just lives there in the hallway? Didn’t feel safe as a solo woman. "

"Our stay at this Vrbo was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. My husband and I traveled with our elderly parents, and it was the perfect place for all of us to relax and enjoy quality family time. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up so everyone felt at ease.What we appreciated the most was how accommodating the space was for our parents. Everything was clean, easy to access, and very comfortable for them, which made the trip stress-free for our whole family. They truly enjoyed every moment sitting outside, taking in the peaceful surroundings, and simply relaxing together.The home itself was spotless, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell the hosts take great pride in making sure guests feel welcome. It felt less like a rental and more like a home away from home.This trip created such special memories for our family, especially being able to spend this time with our parents in such a beautiful place.
