The room was very spacious and clean. Check in process was quick. Parking is an additional $10/night. It just got loud with cars passing by at night so maybe bring some ear plugs. enjoyed the stay

Love, love, love this hotel. The Proper Hotel in Santa Monica exceeded all expectations! From the moment we stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and elegance. The chic decor, impeccable service, and attention to detail truly set this hotel apart. The rooms are stylishly appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The rooftop bar and pool are the perfect place to relax. One minor negative was the open concept hallways. Being open plan, it becomes a wind tunnel, which isn’t great for colder days and it’s also noisy. We were located under the rooftop restaurant, which gets very busy at nighttime. Lucky the rooms are VERY soundproof. The location is good, being close to the vibrant energy of Santa Monica. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!
