"Within walking distance to the centre of Bayeux. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very small rooms and a teeny tiny shower room / toilet. We were in a room with 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed and 1single bed, which suited our needs very well. Cheap and cheerful property but needs some renewals (e.g. hallway carpets are stained)."

"Lovely hotel. Quadruple room actually had a double and two singles, which is quite unusual in France, I've found. Pool and hot tub both great. Good valua spa access for residents. Free parking available 2 min walk up the road. Great stay - thanks!"

"Lovely hotel just on outskirts of town. About 2 mins walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants. Lovely friendly staff on desk to check in. Room was perfect for one person. All clean and modern. Even allowed me to park my motorbike in courtyard. Recommended stay in bayeux. Thank you. "

"This was our favorite hotel during our 8 night trip to Europe. We stayed 2 nights. The staff couldn't have treated us any better. We mentioned a gluten allergy at checkin and they had multiple bread options available at breakfast. They were also helpful when we asked for recommendations. The hotel is well maintained and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops."

"Villa Lara was exceptional in all categories above!! If you are spending time in Normandy or Bayeaux, hands down this is the only place to stay. Don’t even consider another hotel. The location is awesome. The rooms were very comfortable, updated and clean. The hotel staff especially Julian were outstanding. Even Phillip the owner went out of his way to take special care of us!! Hôtel Villa Lara exceeded all our expectations and made our 3 nights in Bayeaux wonderful!!!
