"Our stay at DdlF was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a different world: peaceful, idyllic, and exactly the escape we needed after two bustling days in Paris. We stayed in the Suite Colette, which was perfect for our family, as our teenager had his own bedroom. The suite itself was exceptional: the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the modern, spotless and modern bathroom was remarkably spacious by French standards. The property grounds look as though they were lifted straight from a French novel. Its peaceful, rural setting was ideal for us - just 15 minutes from Bayeux and about an hour from Mont Saint-Michel, making it a perfect base for exploring the region. What I will remember most, however, are Clémence and the unforgettable breakfasts included with our stay. Everything was extraordinary, from the beautiful garden setting to the delicious food itself. I still dream about those breakfasts. Missing them would be a crime! Clémence, if you're reading this, thank you for making our stay so special. You are a true gem of a host, and you should be incredibly proud of the wonderful place you've created. We cannot wait to return. Cheers, Francesco & Eireen"

Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, besonders der Holzofen macht sich sehr gut und verleiht dem Haus einen besonderen Charme! "We had a lovely week in this gite in Le Chenai. Jenny was so welcoming and helpful - the bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Jenny's recommendations; particular favourites were le Mont de Cerisy, a ruined chateau with lovely walks (and an amazing display of rhododendrons) and Chateau Ganne a ruined Norman fortress. It was also a perfect base for exploring DDay history and our dog approved of the local walks too. Sally, John & Bailey x"

We left, but the host was very welcoming and the room and facilities seemed nice enough. Just not for us. The guest house is named something different so on arrival we were a little confused. "
