The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, even the maids. They spoke great English! It's in an area close to spots like Dongdaemun and Myeongdong!

The staff were excellent, rooms and bathroom were nice, very close to shops (7/11, restaurants etc) and transit options. The only problem we had was the internet was incredibly slow. It was really frustrating because we could not even load simple websites to check details for our trip. I ended up purchasing a data plan for my phone. I would not recommend this hotel if you are relying on the wifi for work, trip planning etc.

I had to checkout earlier due to early morning transfer needed to the airport. But they refused to refund remaining 1 night stay which made me upset. I had to stay till evening and checkout. Airport shuttle bus service is disturbed due to low volume of passengers caused by COVID-19.

The Hotel location is excellent. The Hotel needs more staff speaking fluent English language. I would like to see more and more touristic pamphlets in English language.

Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, especially after some of the previous places we stayed in China on our way to Seoul. Very close walk to one of the palaces and not a bad walk (15 minutes) to the metro. Hotel front desk was very helpful with answering our questions and had good grasp of English. Would stay again.

Decent service on the front desk, very large bed that voukd fit 3 people in it. Area doesn't have many ATMs so bring enough cash, or you may go short. One of the best features is their rooftop bar, very nice.

A great hotel close by Seoul's main attractions
We enjoyed the stay at this hotel very much. It's in a perfect location, within a walking distance from the Seoul's main attractions. It's also close by a subway station and the Seoul train station. The service was perfect, the room was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the late check-out at 12 o'clock.

We stayed in Mayplace for more than 2 weeks. The amaneries are great, and what I really appreciated when we had to cancel our last night but the cancellation time was past, staff helped us with the refund. It was a really kind gesture. The only thing that we realize on the last day that our room service never changed our bedding :/ but besides that, the location, staff, and hotel it self is really great. We will Be coming back <3

Comfortable hotel in a nice area, close to bus stops & lots of places to eat, with friendly (& good english-speaking) staff, we also had a view over the Gyeongbokgung Palace grounds from our room.

Poor house keeping and poor staff coordination
I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks, house keeping was poor, they never vacuumed my room nor changed the bed sheet until I told them to do so on the 4th day of my stay, and on the last day, as I had to be in the hospital till 12, I asked the hotel stafff the day before about late checkout, they simply reply hotel fully booked and can’t accomodate my request, I would expect more or I should say better customer service if I stayed in the hotel for 13 nights in total.

First time stay in Seoul
We were pleased with the hotel overall. Check in was very efficient and we got the room we had requested (corner suite up high with views). The electricity was off when we arrived to our room but it was fixed quickly. The staff was helpful and spoke enough English to make it work. Very small fridge in room but we got by with it. Would like to see ice available for the rooms. The subway is about a 10 minute walk, but it takes you by convenient stores, bakeries and other places you may want to walk by anyhow. Very close to palaces if you are exploring. We would stay here again.
